I bought this mainly for the blower, so I haven’t even tried the trimmer yet. The blower is amazing! I previously had a Black & Decker unit and this blows that away, pun intended. Great power and the battery charges quickly. Even has a power indicator on the battery so you know what the power level is. I would buy this again and recommend it to anyone for home use

I ordered my trimmer from Lowe’s and received it today. However the hardware for attaching the handle was missing when I unboxed the trimmer. Interestingly the users manual doesn’t list it, but it is shown in the illustrations. No contact information is included. How can I get the parts needed to attach the handle to the trimmer?

Bought this primarily for the line trimmer and was not disappointed. The rotating head works well for edging the driveway/sidewalks and for weed trimming. It adjusts with one button, so there is no need to change attachments like on my old gas-powered trimmers. Changing the line is pretty easy and does not require tools (again, an improvement from the gas trimmers I’ve had). The 2.5 AH battery just about covers my suburban property for edging, weed whipping, and blowing the clippings off the walks if I’m efficient about it. I usually try to extend my edging to my neighbors’ sidewalks on either side of me, but the battery needs a new charge to go that far. The blower works well for removing loose clippings from dry surfaces and is great to grab for a quick clean up without having to prime and crank a cold 4-cycle engine. To note, it does not have the horsepower to move a lot of leaves in the yard if that’s what you’re looking for. I mean, you can blow a few light, dry leaves, but it won’t move piles of leaves very well. In fairness, that’s not what this hand-held, 40 v blower is designed for.
*Would certainly recommend this product.
*Would like to be able to get a 2nd 2.5 AH battery, but it looks like the only option is to get a larger battery for about 2/3 the cost of the whole kit.
*If you use this for edging after being used to a metal-blade edger, give yourself some time with it for trial and error. I found (and have read) that it’s a different dynamic with a string edger, so be patient and work through the learning curve.
I hope this helps.
