Welcome back, everybody: Ryan with Wild Badger Power. Right now we’re going to talk about the
starting procedure for our 25cc Curved Shaft Trimmer and it’s actually identical to the 26,
52, and the 31 that we’ve previously done. But before we really jump into the procedure, again,
let’s talk about fuel. All right, this is a 50 to 1 mix two-cycle engine. All right, and we highly
recommend pre-mixed fuels for this particular tool – all of our tools, really – and the reason
is because of ethanol. As you know, it’s very difficult to find fuel at a gas station that does
not contain ethanol and ethanol is terrible for small engines. It dries out the carburetor
and gunks up the carburetor and over time causes the tool not to operate correctly, and this
is an issue for all small engines. So, we highly recommend if you’re not comfortable mixing
fuel to a 50 to 1 ratio, because you can’t find the fuel or you just don’t really particularly
care to mix, that you go to your local home center and purchase a can of premium fuel. There’s
plenty of options out there to choose from. All right, so, the starting procedure is very similar
to the other products that we’ve covered, all right. First of all, you’re going to have our little
bulb down here. We’re going to press that ten times. Again, the carburetors we, uh we, provide
on these tools have a bypass so you cannot flood it. So you want to pump it a minimum of ten: so there’s
one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten. This carburetor is now primed. I
want to ensure that my choke lever is in the start position which is “choke”, all right? I then
want to make sure that my tool is in the on position. If this is not in the on position, the Magneto
has been disconnected, and then we will get a spark and the engine will not start, all right.
Next step is I’m going to depress the throttle to fold, all right? And I’m going to pull my cord
three to five times, and in there I should get an engine pop on the 3rd to 5th pull. Once the engine
pops like it wants to start, I’m going to now take my choke lever and put it in the “Run” position
again making sure that my throttle is wide open and I’m going to pull the cord again and the engine
should jump the life and go to full throttle for you immediately upon that next pull. And that
is the starting procedure for the 25cc Curved Shaft String Trimmer.

Thanks for watching.
